1. Localization of E-Learning Content (2025)
Project objective:
The project objective is to execute the complete project lifecycle for the localization and publication of e-learning courses, hands-on lab assets, and certifications to all requested locales by the Google client. Courses and lab updates are requested as well. This effort is a strategic initiative targeted at immediate global market expansion and at ensuring accessible training material across diverse linguistic regions worldwide.
Outcome:
The successful outcome is the comprehensive deployment of the localized e-learning learning paths and courses in live platforms such as Skills Boost and Coursera. Current localization coverage is around 50% of all available learning courses, and the project is still ongoing. The localized content helps expand the client’s market reach, enabling them to access new user markets from different global regions and locales and providing mission-critical training resources to non-English speaking consumers.
My role:
My current job role is Localization Project Manager.
My responsibilities:
My role involves initiating, executing, and governing many localization projects simultaneously, ensuring high quality and strict adherence to scope and schedule.
Initiation & Planning: I perform stakeholder identification while acknowledging the client’s localization request. Through the define scope and collect requirements process, I verify and finalize the full translation scope of the materials received with clients. This involves verifying the technical feasibility of the source assets, checking complex formatting and hardcoded elements that can undermine the localization effort. The planning assists in identifying risks and performing qualitative risk analysis planning. Our team also anticipates potential risks like technical outage and late source file delivery from the vendor, which helps us to define mitigation strategies. Utilizing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), I decompose the learning courses into smaller, trackable asset tasks. I estimate workload resources and utilize historical localization process data to develop schedule projections, and later communicate workload forecasts and secure committed delivery dates. Working with the Program Manager, I assist in the determine budget process by communicating workload requirements based on asset size. I plan procurement management by communicating workload forecasts and quality requirements to selected translation vendors.
Executing & Monitoring & Controlling (M&C): Through the conduct procurement process, I manage the procurement relationship, organize finalized assets, and send source materials, comprehensive translation guidelines, and precise delivery timelines to vendors. I maintain continuous oversight through performing quality control, actively monitoring vendor translation quality, adherence to style guides, and scheduling performance against milestones. During the translation process, I perform control schedule, monitor risk, and manage communication with the vendor and the client. Upon receiving the translated deliverables, I execute a control quality check and scope validation (including linguistic and technical verification) before approving the assets for deployment. The final step is coordinating the technical handoff with the publishing team for publication to the live platform.
Closing: I perform final inspection on published materials and communicate to the client the successful publication, finalizing the project and leading to the formal project closing.
Deliverables:
The key deliverables are localized e-learning courses in live platforms. This includes high-priority languages such as Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese Brazilian, Chinese, and others.

2. Building a Adaptive Content Labelling Guideline (2019)
Project objective:
The project objective was to execute an iterative process improvement initiative to align and standardize content labelling practices among the 20+ team members supporting the Japan social media market. This required constructing a constantly evolving labelling guideline that proactively mitigated policy gaps discovered in ambiguous client documentation and complex nuances on media trends, thus establishing sustained operational and data consistency.
Outcome:
The successful outcome of this project demonstrated sustained quality and efficiency improvements: the primary goal of achieving and maintaining the team's labelling consistency was met with 95% accuracy (a critical Performance Measurement target). The project also successfully improved and empowered team communication to provide timely feedback on vague media trends. Furthermore, the proactive alignment of practices led to a measurable improvement in average handling time (AHT) across teams.

My role was a Subject Matter Expert in the content labelling team.
My responsibilities:
My duties involved providing labelling guidance to team members according to the client’s media policy and improving the labelling practice process. I initiated the labelling guideline project, utilizing PMBOK principles:
Initiation & Planning: I identified stakeholders to pinpoint the impacted team members and formally discussed the project’s benefits with my supervisor and the operation manager for authorization (develop project charter process). I planned communication management among my supervisor, Quality Assurance team, and the operation manager to identify their communication needs depending on the guideline updates. I performed a continuous define scope process for the guideline update by determining and prioritizing the media categories (i.e., alcohol content in Japan social media) that impacted the team accuracy and consistency the most. Similar to the product backlog in Agile practices, my team and I determined which media category guideline needed to be prioritized and improvised in the next update. I broke down media categories into smaller topics for focused team discussions. I also identified and planned around the risk of over-labelling a particular content which may affect social media user experiences.
Executing & Monitoring & Controlling (M&C): I executed the drafting and iteration of the guideline through integrated team feedback. I executed the manage quality process by improvising the guideline after every release. Change logs were developed as part of the control scope and change control process. I worked collaboratively with the QA team to control quality and monitor over-labelling risks, checking on the impact of starting a new guideline release. I managed communication to verify and explain labelling practices to team members, ensuring zero misinterpretation. I eased the guideline use based on team demands, applying Agile practices. I implemented risk responses by updating the guideline when labelling practices have moved in the wrong direction due to misinterpretation. I conducted control communication by formally conveying all guideline updates to the team weekly. Agile practices like team discussion, retrospective, iteration, and changing accordingly to client objectives are applied.
Deliverables:
The core deliverable was the standardized content labelling guideline for team members, which was formally updated and released on a weekly basis and continually re-iterated according to the client's social media labelling objective and team member needs.
